Locate Settlements

Help us locate the over 1000 settlements in our database which have no appropriate coordinates.
Correct Mistakes, Add Places

Nobody is perfect. There are surely mistakes in boundaries, missed colonial settlements, erroneous dates... Help us by telling us via a map interface (under construction) where you think we got it wrong or missed something and we will look into it (but keep nationalist glasses at home please).

Suggest Sources and Resources

You have an online collection of documents/images/objects/information on a place or territory? You know historical investigation or primary sources describing a place? Help us augment our collection of resources and links in the Compendium. Contact us to become an editor, and add a source via a map interface  (under construction).
